The WebAwards are the longest-running annual website award competition dedicated to naming the best websites in 97 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all of website development. This year, Hanson is thrilled to announce that one of our client partners is among the 2021 WebAward winners!

dormakaba, a global leader in access control, won “Manufacturing Standard of Excellence” for their Discovery Center microsite created in collaboration with us. Earlier this year, dormakaba built a physical Discovery Center to showcase their products and enhance customer preference and loyalty by delivering a comprehensive, well-branded, and interactive experience.

To bring the center to life digitally, dormakaba partnered with us to design and develop a microsite for internal and external audiences in order to get them excited about the center and help them plan their experience. Among its many features includes an interactive virtual tour, which allows users to experience the center firsthand.

One judge said of the microsite: "Well done on having a clear call-to-action available above the fold in a calendar format. The digital tour is such a nice add-on that can enhance the user experience. The website design is modern and fully responsive and the content is of high quality. Job well done.”

Since launch, the microsite has seen 754 unique submissions (users who have taken the virtual tour) and converted 188 new prospects.

Please join us in congratulating dormakaba Americas and our internal teams here at Hanson on achieving this outstanding distinction!
